Camp Nicolet

Just Horsing Around – Nicolet Horseshow ’13

Another long-time tradition at Camp Nicolet is the annual end-of-the summer horseshow. Every camper had the opportunity to take riding lessons this summer from an extremely talented and competent riding staff. The Nicolet Equestrian Center was truly a happening place! This summer’s show included an opening flag parade by the riding staff followed by five classes of walk-trot, low fences, and more advanced jumping. The staff performed in two separate jumping events which were fun to watch…one being a race and the other a jumping elimination. Our show clowns entertained the audience in between events and Jeremy did a wonderful job announcing, complete with a bit of country music for ambiance. Congratulations to all of our camper riders for giving it their best throughout the summer and to those who rode in the annual show!
