Nicolet Village
A special place in the heart of the Nicolet National Forest.
Why is Nicolet Village so special? Surrounded by the natural beauty of Wisconsin’s great North Woods, the village is set along the shore of Franklin Lake. Spring-fed and crystal clear, the lake provides a perfect playground for all water activities. Private and peaceful, miles of forest trails provide hours of enjoyment for hikers and mountain bikers. A large Bald Eagle’s nest watches overhead, and it’s not unusual to see a doe and her fawn, fox, or other forest friends.
Village guests have the opportunity to rent kayaks, stand up paddleboards, sailboards, and sailboats. Water skiing and wakeboarding lessons and rides are available by appointment.
