A Nicolet Winter Wonderland
Each season has a sense of beauty and wonder, and winter is no exception. Despite the year of the infamous “Polar Vortex”, Franklin Lake and the surrounding Nicolet Forest has become a world of white swirls and frosty pines. The solitude and splendor is truly breathtaking!
How fun to imagine what all the traditional activities would be like if we had camp in the wintertime!
The stables are all tucked in and covered in snow for the winter. The horses will return to their summer home in June and anxiously await the campers’ arrival.
