Food & Dining

Food & Dining

The Dining Hall is a great place where the camp community enjoys delicious meals together three times a day. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served buffet-style. The camp kitchen will accommodate special dietary needs.

Is your camper a bit on the shy side? Not to worry, they will never be “dining alone.” Campers draw numbers and rotate tables each week, providing the opportunity to meet other campers and staff, and to enjoy the company of people outside their own cabin groups.

We want meal time to be a happy time!

BREAKFAST (Rise and shine!):

Hot & cold cereal, fresh fruit, toast, peanut butter & jelly, yogurt, and a main entrée which varies from day to day.

Entrees include: pancakes, waffles, french toast (often with different toppings), scrambled eggs with cheese, breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burritos, and omelets.

LUNCH (Keep that Energy Going!):

Full salad bar with veggies, fresh fruit, and homemade pasta salads.

Entrees include: grilled cheese & tomato soup, chicken tenders & tater tots, macaroni & cheese, hamburgers, pizza bagels, make-your-own deli sandwiches, and much more.

DINNER (You deserve this after all that fun!):

Salad bar, fresh fruit, and a main entrée.

Examples of entrees include: spaghetti and sauce or meatballs, lasagna, baked chicken and mashed potatoes, turkey dinner with all the fixings, homemade pizza, chicken stir-fry, BBQ chicken, and pasta bar.

“Because of camp, I have been able to meet so many different people with all different backgrounds. Camp is just a magical place where girls from all over come to be girls, and I can honestly say there has not been a day at camp out of all my years that I did not feel like I had best friends who really cared for me.” – Camp Nicolet Camper
