Get ready for fun & thrills with our super popular Water Skiing program! It’s a camper favorite, and everyone gets to hit the lake three times a week as part of their regular schedule – how awesome is that? Whether you’re a total beginner or a future pro, our amazing instructors follow the USA Water Ski levels, helping you progress from Bronze all the way through impressive Masters skills! Imagine learning to zip across the water on two skis, then one, maybe even trying tricks, the ski jump, slalom course, or barefooting behind the boat! No experience? No worries! We have the perfect gear and patient instructors to make sure everyone feels the thrill of gliding across beautiful Franklin Lake!

Dive into the exciting world of water skiing at Camp Nicolet, where we offer a fantastic, step-by-step experience following the USA Water Ski levels! Our friendly Ski Staff are generally USA Water Ski Level 1 certified, and all our instructors are also certified American Red Cross lifeguards, ensuring a safe and supportive environment on the water. Discover the joy of this amazing lifetime sport and build a solid foundation for fun on the water right here at camp. The boat fleet includes three competition-level Ski Nautiques, and a Moomba Mobius wakeboard boat.

Take your skills to the next level by signing up for our awesome Barefooting or Ski Jumping electives! Or, get ready to shine in the spotlight during the final week’s legendary Water Ski Show, where you can wow everyone with your spectacular act! For those craving even more challenge, camp’s Advanced Skiing option lets you zero in on mastering the slalom course, learning trick ski maneuvers, or even soaring high above the water off the ski jump – make some serious memories!

Additional Lesson Options
If three weekly sessions just aren’t enough, get ready to amp up the excitement with our “double” water skiing option, giving campers six hours on the lake each week! You can easily sign up when you register for camp or through the Additional Options form in MY CAMP ACCOUNT. An additional fee applies.
For campers eager to take their skills to the next level, our Advanced Skiing program (at no extra cost) swaps regular ski hours for specialized coaching in slalom, trick skiing, and even learning to soar over the water ski jump – get ready to carve up the lake!

My 9 years at Camp Nicolet are some of the highlights of my life. I think of my time on Lake Franklin, laughing, singing, learning new skills, and making lifelong friends. The memories are a source of pure joy and happiness buffering the inevitable challenges of life!

Camp Nicolet is a tremendous gift, not just for our daughter, but for our whole family. It’s always nice to remind our daughter that her favorite time of year is the one month she doesn’t have a phone in her hands. Camp is a huge part of who our daughter is – for that we are thankful.
