Sailing
Ahoy maties! Imagine the feeling of gliding across Franklin Lake at the helm of a sailboat. Camp’s fleet consists of four Hobie Wave catamarans and three LaserPerformance “Bug” sailboats. Participate in a sailing regatta and hone your competitive sailing skills. While we cannot promise you a visit from Johnny Depp, we can promise you waves of fun as the fresh air carries you across the water.
Paddling
Camp Nicolet’s Smallcraft program gives you the opportunity to learn all about canoeing, kayaking, and windsurfing. Take a paddling adventure to Tiger’s Tail and discover this giant sandbar at the other end of the lake.
Stand-up-paddling, or SUP, is also very popular. Jump on one of our six SUP boards, grab a paddle, and whisk your way along the beautiful shoreline.
For a real adventure, try your hand at one of Camp Nicolet’s four Hi-Fly sailboard rigs, with sails varying in size from small (easy to lift) or larger sails for the more experienced who want higher performance.
