Hello Camp Families and Friends!
This past weekend we had the pleasure of spending time with many current families, alumni, and prospective campers at the Camp Nicolet Midwest Open House in Winnetka, IL and it was AWESOME! We got to chat and catch up, share information about Summer 2016, sing songs, and watch the release of the 2015 Camp DVD, Renegades (AMAZING JOB JER!!). It’s evenings like this that keep us pumped throughout the off-season and remind us of the contagious energy of our camp family. Thank you to everyone who attended and for those of you who weren’t able, we’ll see you next year! 🙂

So, what are we up to next? On Monday, Jer, Kaitlyn, and I will be heading to the ACA National Conference in Atlanta. It will be a week filled with camp excitement as we learn from some of the best in the business and network with other camp professionals. Session topics include program design, staff training and leadership, risk management, emerging issues in camping, and youth development and behavior, among others. There will also be an exhibit hall featuring some of the latest and greatest equipment and resources for camp. Maybe we’ll find some cool things to bring to CN this summer!
